Changes in Homepath program by Fannie Mae
Shane Hollenback and I discuss the Fannie Mae Homepath program and some recent changes that could benefit buyers and real estate agents.
The Homepath program by Fannie Mae has many features that could help home buyers. The program is a great alternative for second home owners and investors to get into a property for less money down than a conventional loan.
Recent changes in the program now allow primary home buyers the opportunity to get 3.5% in closing costs and a $1500 bonus to agents if the home closes before the end of 2010. This program went into effect on September 23rd.
